Theatre

Springfield Theatre is a rigorous and academic theatre program designed to challenge and empower students through performance and production. We offer students co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities to perform. From Hanging by Our Fingernails (our annual sketch comedy production) to Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, to full-scale musicals. 

SHS Theatre provides students with a variety of performance opportunities. Students can earn letters in our extra-curricular productions and can earn up to 6 elective credits towards their college degree with our College Now curriculum.

In addition to letter and college credits, we partner with the Broadway theatre company, The Manhattan Theatre Club in an international script-writing partnership. Theatre improves literacy, confidence and empowers students to succeed in all facets of life. Come perform with us!
