Springfield Concert Chorale Shines at State Championships with Powerful Performance and Standing Ovation

Last Friday, the Springfield High School Concert Chorale took the stage at the OSAA State Choir Championships—and left a lasting impression. Competing against some of the top choirs from across Oregon, our students delivered an unforgettable performance that earned them an impressive 6th place finish in the state.

But perhaps the most remarkable moment of the day came after their final note—when the audience rose to their feet in a rare and well-deserved standing ovation. It's not every day that a high school choir receives such an honor at a state-level competition, and it speaks volumes about the heart, talent, and dedication of our singers and their director.

The competition was fierce, but our Concert Chorale continues to prove that they belong among the very best in Oregon. Their artistry, preparation, and passion for music were on full display, and they represented Springfield High School with excellence and pride.

Congratulations to our incredible students and staff—your hard work continues to inspire us all! 🎶💙
