“The eponymous Algernon is a laboratory mouse who has undergone surgery to increase his intelligence by artificial means. Flowers for Algernon features over 20 SHS students in this elaborate production. In addition to the cast, SHS Jazz has compiled the SHS Algernon Combo, directed by Christopher Holt, which provides live accompaniment throughout the play. Senior Chris Dickson is featured as Charlie Gordon and Kyler Deanda, Robert Robison-Miller and Quentin Noffsinger play the scientists. Junior Hannah Baehler is Alice.
This show features the design work from TDSO, costumes by Jamie Parker and light design by Allen Adams. Students Isaac Means and Mikaya Terrell are Stage Managers. Jill Plumb directs.
