This year the district is pleased to offer two online learning opportunities to provide the greatest flexibility we’re able to support our students.
Students and families interested in online options are now able to choose between:
An independent learning option with the greatest degree of schedule flexibility. SPSOnline is the district’s long-standing online option that allows students to access learning on their own schedule with regular check-ins with teachers to ensure support and success.
New this year, the district will be offering online learning on a set schedule with live instruction from SPS teachers. This option provides regular daily scheduled real-time learning with SPS teachers paired with portions of independent study.
Please visit this site for more information: Academics at SPS / Online Learning
Our first days back to school are:
Wednesday, September 8th for 9th grade only
Thursday, September 9th for 10th – 12th graders
Counselors have been working diligently to balance classes! If you want to know who your counselor is and how to reach them, the counselor assignments are here.
The current ODE guidance states that we need to be 3 feet apart from each other indoors. Masks will be required at all times, both indoors and outdoors (we will provide masks, if needed). Our cleaning protocols will continue as they were last year. The safety of our students is our utmost priority.
If you have any questions, please contact us at (541) 744-4700
I look forward to seeing you all soon!
