Students of the Month

Isaac Michaels is a senior at Springfield High School. Isaac has been an on the go type of kid since he was an infant. His love of family, friends and community is the core of who he is. His involvement in school has included sports, soccer, baseball, and cross country, as well as health occupations and student government. Outside of school he is very active. He has volunteered at Camp Harlow every summer since he was 13. He’s also volunteered in the children’s ministry since he was 12. Recently he has worked as a volunteer at the church as a  video and sound technician for on line services. Other areas he’s been involved in include working as a referee for soccer games and hosting study sessions for science courses. He has always loved sports and has been involved in soccer, cross country and baseball. His mission trips to Mexico and his passion for people have led him to pursue a degree in medicine. His current aspirations are to become a Doctor in surgery and help those in other less fortunate countries. He is an amazing young man with a big heart for people. We’ve always called him “Mr. Social” because he loves to be with friends and helping to make a difference.
